Mission:
The Rays Of Good Hope International Volunteers (ROHIV) currently has opportunities to help develop communities through our partner organization in Kenya . Volunteers have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of work, including education and training for children from under-privileged backgrounds and HIV/AIDS counseling. Through this program, volunteers will have a chance to make a personal contribution and connection to the people of Kenya .
We work at grass root level particularly in the rural or countryside in Kenya and Uganda. To promote education of the girl child, orphans, disadvantaged children, OVC’s, youth and empowering of women. The western part of Kenya which we have put our focus has been entirely been neglected by the most international and agencies and has the highest HIV/AIDS infections in Kenya. We work with locally Community based Groups and established institutions e.g. Schools, Children homes, Clinics, establish projects that are beneficial to them.
